“Can you be convinced to wear your seat belt?
Take a ride on this new equipment from the highway patrol, and we believe you will be convinced! The seat belt convincer will send you cruising to 5 mph and simulates a crash at that speed. It’s thrilling, yes, but only for a few seconds. Then you can think about the outcome if you were in a vehicle without a seat belt.
Contact Cpl. Julie Scerine for Lincoln, Pike or Warren County and Sgt. Brent Bernhardt for Ralls, Marion, Shelby, Monroe, Lewis, Clark, Scotland, or check with your local law enforcement agency.
