Impaired Driving Simulator Available to Local Schools--March 29, 2006
In an effort to reduce alcohol or drug-related fatalities in southwest Missouri, the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety is offering a program for high school students to feel first-hand what it’s like to drive while under the influence.
The program, which includes an impaired driving simulator, is presented by a law enforcement officer and can be tailored for a large group of students or several smaller groups. The impaired driving simulator is a go-kart that mimics what it’s like to drive while impaired.
Please contact Celesta Dennen at 417-629-3349 to schedule a session or for more information.
Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety members include local trucking companies, law enforcement, MADD, and various state and federal agencies.
