Kyle Petty

When Kyle Petty was the Traffic Safety Coordinator for the Cole County Sheriff’s Office, he supervised a squad of 4-5 Deputies. When Kyle was employed by the Sheriff’s Office (he is now with the Department of Corrections), traffic safety was very important to him. He organized traffic safety details throughout the year. He also recently went through DRE school and is now a certified DRE (Drug Recognition Expert). Kyle lead by example as he arrested 19 individuals for DWI related offenses in 2023. Clearly, these arrests are getting dangerous people off the roads and protecting lives (theirs & others). His squad accounted for another 18 DWI related offenses as his subordinates followed his lead.
