Mag Roberts - Meramec Regional Planning Commission

Mag has dedicated 27 years of her life to helping students and teen drivers understand the consequences of bad choices behind the wheel through docudramas. She first began producing docudramas at the St. James School District. Her efforts expanded statewide when she began working for the Meramec Regional Planning Commission and as a grantee of MoDOT’s Highway Safety & Traffic Division.

With each school she works with, she develops a program that delivers real impact, connects with students, and makes a lasting difference, tailoring each program to the specific needs of the school. The impact of her work is immeasurable and widespread. She has former students who are now teachers (whom she taught at St. James and conducted programs with), who now ask her to bring the programs to their schools for their students. She has a passion for this program and has worked tirelessly to save students, one program at a time, after experiencing too many losses of her own students as a teacher due to careless decisions. It’s evident that her life mission and passion are to help protect students statewide from making decisions that have lifetime consequences.
