The goal of the Show Me Your Score Safe Driving Challenge is to promote and reward teen safe driving in Missouri. Safer teen drivers and passengers means less crashes and ultimately fewer fatalities and serious injuries on our roadways. With $15,000 in prizes up for grabs for schools, teens, and faculty, the Show Me Your Score Safe Driving Challenge will help teen drivers curb distraction, reduce speed, and increase seat belt usage.
The Challenge also highlights Missouri’s recently enacted Siddens-Bening Law which prohibits the handheld use of an electronic device for all drivers. Beginning January 1, 2025, drivers can be cited for violating the law. The Show Me Your Score Safe Driving Challenge brings additional awareness to the new law while simultaneously discouraging cell phone use while driving.
